Free QR code that never expires
Codes from trial-based generators stop working after 7–14 days. These don’t: the link is stored in the code itself.

QR that never expires
Why did my QR code expire?
Because it was a dynamic code: it pointed to the generator’s own short link, and they switched the redirect off when the trial ended. Your printed code still contains their link, not yours — that is why it stopped working.
How to make one that can’t expire
Create a static code (that is all infiniqr makes). The QR contains your actual address, so phones open your page directly. There is no server between the scan and your site, so nothing can be deactivated.
Already printed an expired code?
Unfortunately the old code can only be revived by the company that controls its link. Make a new static code here and reprint, or put a sticker with the new code over the old one.
Frequently asked questions
Will this code work in 10 years?
Yes, as long as the web page it points to still exists. The code itself has no expiry date.
Is there a scan limit?
No. Static codes are read by the phone directly; nobody counts or limits the scans.
What do I lose compared with a dynamic code?
Editing the destination after printing and scan statistics. If you need to change the destination later, point the code at a page you control.
